Printing at a convenience store in Japan
7-Eleven (netprint), Lawson and FamilyMart (network print) all take this PDF, which stays under 10 MB. Upload it with the store’s app or website, then at the copier enter your number and choose A3 and colour. A colour A3 print costs about ¥100. The machines leave a thin white edge, so keep words a few millimetres in from the sides.
Printing at a print shop (US and elsewhere)
Use an 11 × 17 in board, upload the PDF to a shop such as FedEx Office or Staples, or bring it on your phone, and ask for colour on cardstock. For a photo poster at a photo lab, download PNG instead.
Printing at home
Download the A4 sheets, print them at 100% (“actual size”, not “fit to page”), trim along the marks and tape them together from the back.
